In forth grade I have been working on a research project. I got to choose the topic! I chose Dogs! I learned that adult dogs have 42 teeth and baby dogs also known as puppies have 28 teeth! Crazy huh! What do you know about dogs? Answer in a comment below.

Red looks like a red telephone.

Red sounds like a fire hydrant spraying water.

Red smells like a fresh raspberry.

Red feels like someone brook my heart.

Red makes me mad.

Red is like the world spinning around.

Blue looks like the beautiful sky.

Blue looks like the ocean.

Blue sounds like the waves  crashing up against the rocks.

Blue tastes like the fresh air.

I love blue.

For Mothers Day, my family went to Shari’s restaurant for breakfast.  My aunt, uncle, cousins and grandma came too.  After breakfast, we went to Camassia Park to go for a hike. It was very cool. After the hike, we went to Champoge Park to bike with my cousins and grandma. At the end of the path, there was a store and we got ice cream. When we were going to our car, my six year old cousin was speeding down the big hill and slipped. He got hurt but still rode back.  When we got to the car, we gave my cousins a lolly pop stick (Ryder got bubble gum and Ruby got orange crush).  Last part of the day, we went home, got our bathing suits on and went in our pool and hot tub. For dinner we had hot dogs and salad. It was the best Mothers Day!

This week we are doing poems with a class in Canada called Mrs. Harris’s class.  We’re doing colors, and this week’s color is blue. Here is my Blue poem.

Blue looks like the ocean

Blue sounds like a bluebird chirping the blues

For Mothers Day on my blog I’m going to write a couplet for my mom. Here it is!

         My mom is nice

          My mom is sweet

               Every time I brush my teeth

Do you know what Miles  in May is? If you don’t I’ll tell you. So in May my school does Miles in May. The kids in my school run or walk around the track. We have cards with 20 feet around the card.  Every time you get around the track the teachers hole punch your card. Every 5 times you go around the track you get a foot. When you finish a card you get a new card.  When you walk it exercises your brain.  I have a math problem for you: If I ran 5 laps in the morning and 5 laps in the after noon how many miles did I run in all?

Last Friday my class went to our school garden. At the garden there was two groups. The one I was in had to have a piece of paper and seeds. We had to describe it, and then draw it. The second  station is where we planted  plants. We planted beets and radish. Do you plant seeds?
